wanted poster was mass produced in 1720, this is believed to be the only copy which remains. Bought at auction in England, this was the first piece in Burleigh’s collection. It was one of the curiosities which nobleman Sir Percival Talbot brought back to his home in Farnham, Surrey from his travels throughout Colonial America in the early 18th Century.
